Sinclairs Country Retreat

“You won’t regret staying here with your family” We stayed at the Sinclair’s Country Retreat and had a wonderful time. The property was just as described and the hosts, were welcoming and friendly and made my stay just perfect. The view was inspiring and the room large and comfortable. I was fortunate to get the room with the view of the lake which was nice. It also was nice to be able to use the free wireless and computer access to stay in touch with my family at home in the U.S. Breakfast selection included coffee and tea, fresh fruits and a variety of breads and cereals which were excellent. The beach is just a few minutes drive and these beaches are not to be missed because are truly gorgeous. You could drive right up to the beach, and there were very few people on the beach so I felt that I had it to myself. I was traveling with my daughter and felt safe staying here. I will definitely return on my next visit to NSW.

Sinclairs Serviced Apartments

“Small but comfortable apartment” This apartment has almost everything that most travellers will need. However, the washing machine and dryers are shared among few apartments, so sometimes we’d have to wait for the others to unload their laundry. Guests are not permitted to do laundry after 9pm because the washing machine is right between the entrance of 2 apartments on ground floor.

Sinclair’s City Hostel.

“Great service. Breakfast included.” This place seems to be booked out to international students, with spare rooms being booked to visitors. From the outside, it is easy to miss this place, but from the inside dining room there is a large window to look out over Cleveland Street. Crown Street is just near the hotel and has many shops and restaurants leading to Oxford St. You can walk to the CBD and Central Station from this hotel in about 20 minutes. Just don’t follow Cleveland St, as it leads directly into Redfern! Area seems ok, walked it alone at night.

I was very surprised in the morning when breakfast was laid out on the table in the dining room and all were welcome to eat as much cereal/toast as they liked. A great cost saver! The female cleaner was very friendly and even offered advice about what to see and do in Sydney and where to avoid. Great service from their outgoing staff, it made all the difference.
